We tear out and replace concrete throughout Wichita and the towns around it in Sedgwick County, Kansas. The whole area shares one problem: heavy expansive clay that swells wet and shrinks dry, moving any slab poured straight on it. What changes town to town is the age of the concrete and how the lot was graded.
